Wide variety of products, clean environment, men's room needs a little work and not enough employees to assist.

Buy firearms here. Less than 30 minutes for background check. Knowledgeable sales people. Very courteous.

Love love love!!! Its fun to walk around and look at all of the the things they have on display.(I have pictures) If your into guns and bows for hunting, well they have everything you will need.. Even get some fudge, it is the best.

Nice place visit. Offshoot of Bass Pro now. It use to be a little different but they all have the same things now. Only one register was open and the item needed a price check. The line got long while waiting and another lined open just to have the same problem. I will always drop by there though from time to time when I am in the area.

Go to ANY Cabelas in the West or Northwest and you will get excellent service. Here in Gonzales outside of Baton Rouge, you're lucky if you can EVER get specific departments to answer the phone. HORRIBLE customer service.

They have all the products that you will need for your next outdoor adventure, friendly service at reasonable prices!

This place is great about it's family and children's event. Sorry to say that if your in a bind the prices are a bit high for my taste but the specialization in goods is better than most big box places. Cheap hats though.

This was a stop over for us while traveling they the area. We stayed overnight in the back lot in our coach. Great store. Picked up a few things plus a pair of shoes.

I really enjoy going to Cabela's they have a wide variety of just about anything and everything outdoors the staff is very friendly and very helpful and I try to go atleast once a month

Went here to walk around. Looked at some camping stuff. Very good merchandise and well spaced out. Everyone was wearing their masks. Took pic of grandmother in front of the waterfall inside.

I called at 7:57 and I realized that they closed at 8 but I only had 1 question to ask so I stayed on the line. A lady answers and I apologized for calling this close to they’re closing time and told her I had one question, she then proceeds to tell me “whoops we are closed call back tomorrow” as 8:00 hits. I’ve worked 16 hour shifts before and STILL answered the phone even after close. Extremely rude and I will never be going there.

It's ok a lot of outdoor products.... Guns, Bows, Camping gear, Clothes, etc... They had Shoot Like a Girl there & that was really fun. They teach you gun safety, how to hold a gun & aim properly.

Bought a great Henry rifle at a fair price with good service

Love it everytime we go the kids are going to look at the aquarium and all of the animals and stuff give me the prices are a little too steep

Great example of a Cabela’s store. Awesome animal displays and even had a small walk through aquarium. The only employee we encountered was at the register was not very nice. Everything we bought was not priced right. Everything rang up for mare expensive than was marked. Not even exaggerating that everything in our cart rang up for a higher price.

Nice array of products along with their displays. Some staff seemed more ovvupied with their coworkers conversations than actullay interested in the patrons. A couple of them even turned and walked away when they saw shoppers head in their direction.

Great service at gun counter, not at customer service . I bought a new gun and Jack at the gun counter was very helpful and courteous. After completing the purchase, I realized I forgot to use my rewards card when purchasing, so I went to the customer service desk. I really wish I had gotten the girls name, as she wasn't helpful at all because it was a gun purchase and said to call the 800 number. I said it made no sense why a gun purchase would be treated differently but ok, to which she mumbled "Whatever!". I avoid confrontation whenever possible, so let that pass, but it soured my shopping experience.

Very cool store with a ton of taxidermy, it's the typical stuff that cabela has but the store is set up real nice with all the taxidermy. Must see if your in the area and you are a hunter.

Stop there at night, parking lot lighting very poor and dark. Sales team very helpful while shopping and found everything I was looking for, other than outside light great place to shop for your outdoor needs.

An adult's toy store especially for outdoorsy people. Prices on the high side but good quality merchandise. Check thier sales papers for discounts.

When to go purchase a hand gun stood at the counter for a hour and 20 min 2 ployees was right pased carrying on there coversation and never asked if I needed halp or if I had a question by the Tim someone did get to me they said it's to late to make a purchase minde u there weren't many other people so there was opertunity to ask if I needed anything I'm descusted with this place and it's customer service and customer value I will never be buying or giving business to them again I should have went to bas pro

The archery area was great, the specialist was professional. Anthony was really patient, professional, and passionate about his work! Great experience with the little archery lesson and trying out different type of bows!

I went in to look for a holster for my pistol. They weren’t busy. There was two behind the counter and three on the floor. I walked up and waited for them to finish their conversation and ask for help one pointed in the direction they saw me looking for 10 min. the other pulled a holster off the shelf and said he thinks this one might fit. I asked if I could try it with one of their pistols. He said one of the sales people behind the counter would have to help. I thought he was going to let one of them know. About that time two very attractive ladies walked up and it was over for me. It took him and the two behind the counter to help them. I guess I could see their point but at least one of them could have put their tongue back in their mouth and finished helping me. I supported them moving in when lots of people were fighting them. I have spent lots of money over the years but will not spend another red cent there again.

Good selection of clothing. Smaller selection of fishing gear compared to BassPro Shop. The Ranger line of bass boats are sold here. friendly staff. The Gonzales store has the largest animal display I’ve seen at a Cabela’s. Also, this store has a small wildlife museum.

Needs some work on a few of its employees. Standing for many minutes and nobody asks if help is needed.

Beautiful store. Employees are super nice and helpful.Great items. Very clean. Love the firearms section .Had to do a return while I was there, Had NO hassle doing it and the lady was so understanding and willing to help.A lil pricey compared to most. Still worth every penny.I highly recommend this Cabela's 👍🤗

The boating safety and parts section could use far more organization by use. Not grouping lighting together with wiring and havingrelated products on a different aisle doesn't work for me. The rest of the store isn't like that.

The area this location is in is great! Near plenty of restaurants, Tanger Outlet and other stores. Employees are great and the store is always clean. Thank you for still being a fantastic place to shop!

I like Cabelas. It has a wide variety of outdoor gear for fishing and hunting. They sell a pretty wide variety of fishing boats. Convenient location next to Gonzalez outlet malls.

Always a great escape to walk through! A little prices, but when you catch a sell, its REALLY worth it!

Less than one star is where I would rate them today. I received an email that they had restocked the smoker I had been looking at. I called the Gonzales store and spoke to the person who oversees the smokers. He told me they had received 3 units. Based upon the conversation I drove over 80 miles to get one. They didn't have any I was told to go to customer service. There was one person waiting on the 5 customers in line. She did what she could but no smoker. I wasted 6 hrs and drove over 150 miles because of an erroneous email and a clerk that can't give correct information

Great place to shop for just about anything for outdoor activities... It is a fun store for me to go to... Friendly staff. Huge selection. My only complaint was their restroom. Too small and not enough stalls for the amount of traffic they get. Nice store too - great shopping experience!
